Description<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

During this year\u2019s edition of the East of Culture \u2013 Different Sounds festival (July 2\u20135, 2026), no music lover will be disappointed. If you love music, enjoy discovering new sounds, and can never get enough of books and good films, you will definitely find yourself in the role of a Different Sounds Volunteer.<\/p>\n

We offer volunteers comprehensive preparation, our full support, and above all the opportunity to be part of unique events: concerts, meetings, workshops, and exhibitions.<\/p>\n

What tasks might you take on?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

\u2013 assisting at information points (if you enjoy interacting with people and talking to them);
\u2013 helping with stage operations, performances, and backstage areas (if you are well-organized, detail-oriented, patient, punctual, attentive, and assertive);
\u2013 supporting facilitators during activities for children (if you are gentle and enjoy working with young audiences);
\u2013 assisting artists (if you have communicative English skills, are well-organized, and enjoy meeting new people).<\/p>\n

Why is it worth it?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

\u2013 you will gain experience working with festival audiences;
\u2013 you will develop soft skills and teamwork abilities;
\u2013 you will enrich your CV with experience at a large cultural event;
\u2013 you will practice communication in a foreign language;
\u2013 you will meet artists and see behind the scenes of cultural events;
\u2013 you will learn how a festival is organized;
\u2013 you will meet new people and experience something truly special at the heart of the event;
\u2013 you will sign a volunteer agreement and receive a certificate of participation;
\u2013 you will have the opportunity to develop your interests and passions;
\u2013 you will feel the satisfaction of co-creating culture in your city.<\/p>\n

Participation in the volunteer program may count toward your university internship\u2014please let us know in the application form.<\/p>\n

SCHEDULE<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

When:<\/strong>
\u2013 until May 17 \u2013 recruitment
\u2013 May 22 \u2013 results announcement
\u2013 June \u2013 meetings and training sessions (several dates; each session lasts 2\u20133 hours; a detailed schedule will be sent on the day the results are announced)
\u2013 July 2\u20135 \u2013 main engagement during the festival (detailed schedule to be arranged)
