During his live sets, Fume often incorporates bespoke visualizations specifically dedicated to each composition, creating a fully immersive audiovisual experience.<\/p>\n

The year 2019 marks the 450th anniversary of the Union of Lublin. This jubilee provides a perfect opportunity to better understand\u2014and essentially rediscover\u2014Lithuania, our northeastern neighbor, which is still primarily perceived in Poland through the lens of the Romantic era<\/p>\n
In constructing a musical panorama of Lithuania for the Rise of Eastern Culture \u2013 Different Sounds festival, we aimed to capture a variety of genres and phenomena. Our goal was to showcase the broadest possible spectrum of what currently shapes the identity and uniqueness of this Baltic country\u2019s scene.<\/p>\n
However, it is not only Lithuanian music that’s featured at this year\u2019s Different Sounds festival. As part of the “Lithuanian Focus” series, we will also host literary encounters, book premieres, film screenings, and exhibitions of photography and book illustration, alongside children\u2019s workshops and discussions on Lithuanian culture.
\nTo facilitate this, Lublin will welcome a wide array of Lithuanian guests: musicians, writers, and children\u2019s book illustrators, as well as journalists and cultural managers. Furthermore, our festival bookstore, S\u0142owobranie, will feature dedicated shelves of Lithuanian literature published in Poland, making these titles available for purchase throughout the event.<\/p>\n
The \u201cLithuanian Focus\u201d program was created in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Poland, the Lithuanian Culture Institute, the Lithuanian Film Centre, the M.K. \u010ciurlionis National Museum of Art, and the Lithuanian Photographers Association, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania.<\/p>\n
