The artists skillfully blend jazz themes with the raw expression of improvisation, a rock edge, the driving dynamics of funk, and electronic textures. Navigating genres such as acid jazz, space rock, and psychedelia, their compositions immediately evoke comparisons to the works of The Cinematic Orchestra or Tortoise\u2014or, closer to the Polish scene, the style of Contemporary Noise Sextet.<br \/>Atomic Simao possesses immense potential to make a lasting mark on the European musical map, and this year\u2019s Different Sounds Festival may serve as a significant milestone in that journey.
