MUSIC LAB is a space dedicated to free expression and collective creation through sound and imagination. These sessions are open to everyone aged 14 and up, and no prior musical background is required. You don’t need to read sheet music or play an instrument—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore new sounds together.

This workshop offers participants the chance to collectively improvise music, utilizing a diverse range of instruments and electronic sound processing. The core of the session will be exploring sonic harmonies, contrasts, rhythms, moods, and narrative through sound, fostering an environment of mutual attentiveness and creative freedom for all. As an added bonus, you’ll learn how to construct your own instruments with distinct sonic capabilities. Bringing your own instrument is also welcome!

Instructor: Radek Kaliski is an actor, director, performer, and soft skills trainer. A graduate of the Puppetry Department in Białystok (part of the Warsaw Academy of Theatre Arts), he has extensive experience leading educational and theatre workshops. He works with diverse groups, including individuals at risk of social exclusion, those struggling with addiction, youth, and adults. Radek is also a dedicated member of the Association of Theatre Pedagogues, actively participating in many of their projects.   He engages in Forum Theatre projects in partnership with the Drama Way Foundation. With over a dozen directorial credits to his name, Radek also develops and leads artistic development workshops and public speaking sessions for businesses. He has collaborated with notable institutions such as TR Warszawa, Towarzystwo Inicjatyw Twórczych “ę”, Teatr Ochoty, and Fundacja Obserwatorium.
