Hailing from Nigeria, Tony Allen began his musical journey by drawing from traditional African rhythms and fusing them with funk, jazz, and reggae. Today, he stands as a global icon and a definitive personality within the world music scene, with a prolific discography that resonates worldwide.
Allen consistently collaborates with the elite of the music industry, including Jimi Tenor and Damon Albarn. Albarn—the visionary behind Blur and Gorillaz—is featured as a special guest on Allen’s latest, critically acclaimed album, Film of Life. Currently based in Paris, Tony Allen will arrive in Lublin accompanied by his extraordinary ten-piece orchestra, a lineup that guarantees an unforgettable live experience.
