Their classic big-band instrumentation—featuring double bass, trombone, and trumpet—marries a “dirty,” underground aesthetic that instantly sweeps the audience onto the dance floor. In their style, one can hear echoes of the genre’s finest practitioners, such as Gogol Bordello or Manu Chao, yet they maintain a raw intensity that is entirely their own.
