Hailing from London, this jazz-afrobeat big band is currently one of the hottest acts in the scene and an absolute firecracker of a live band. With ten people on stage—featuring drums, percussion, an expansive brass section, keys, bass, and guitars—all topped off by phenomenal vocals, this “orchestra” navigates with effortless poise and grace between jazz, reggae, and soul, alongside a vast array of African and Latin American sounds.
Their visit to Lublin and their Different Sounds performance will serve as a powerful reminder of the joy and positive energy that music can provide—and how much we all need it, particularly during such challenging times for festivals. It is also worth noting that their latest album features guest appearances by two legends previously hosted at Different Sounds: Tony Allen and Mulatu Astatke.
