Monoconda is the stage name of Oleksandr Filonenko, an acclaimed Ukrainian DJ, producer, and musician. In his sets, he masterfully blends genres such as IDM, dub, techno, and ambient with a highly personal, signature touch. Filonenko possesses the innate ability to command a dancefloor and energise a crowd, yet he is equally adept at dialling back the tempo to immerse his audience in hypnotic, trance-like soundscapes.
During his performances, he expands beyond traditional electronic setups by incorporating live electric guitar and keyboards, resulting in a rich and compelling sonic texture. Monoconda’s set is guaranteed to be one of the most high-energy, dance-focused highlights of this year’s festival in Lublin.
