Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys | DEU
ABOUT
Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys is an art-pop and noise project fronted by singer-songwriter Lucy Kruger. Born in Cape Town, South Africa, and now based in Berlin, Kruger crafts slow, sprawling folk that is as intimate as it is ambient. Her music is steeped in atmospheric mood and simmering intensity.
The artist debuted in 2014 with the self-titled Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys EP, followed three years later by her first full-length studio album, Summer’s Not That Simple, released via Permanent Record. Over the last four years, the band has released and successfully toured a prolific trilogy of albums known as the Tapes series, which serves as a sonic documentation of mounting anxiety and eventual release.
In April 2023, the group released their latest record, Heaving, which will receive its Polish premiere at the Different Sounds festival. Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys are also proud participants in the Keychange 2023 programme.
