Led by their charismatic leader, Igor Krutogolov, this Tel Aviv-based crew is pure live dynamite. The artists have developed their own musical style, which they describe as Klezmercore—an incredible fusion of Klezmer, rock, and punk, alongside jazz and improvised music. Simply put, Kruzenshtern & Parohod is a phenomenon not to be missed.
The group’s instrumentation consists of clarinet, bass, drums, and accordion. This is complemented by the distinctive voice and vocal style of Krutogolov, who, in addition to his primary band, successfully manages other projects such as Igor Krutogolov’s Karate Band and Toy Orchestra.
