ABOUT

Comprised of acclaimed musicians from the Polish jazz and alternative scenes, Javva brings together artists previously associated with such influential acts as Contemporary Noise Sextet, Alameda, Duży Jack, Hokei, Something Like Elvis, Opla, and Xenony. Within this project, the artists have chosen to tackle dance music through a highly original lens, without severing ties to their avant-garde roots.
The result is stellar: a fusion that weaves African and Oriental rhythms with avant-rock, psychedelia, and noise. Their debut album, Balance of Decay, was widely hailed as one of the most significant musical events of the past year in Poland.
