ABOUT
Kadabra Dyskety Kusaje is a Ukrainian-Polish electronic duo featuring Mariya Mavko—a vocalist and flautist from Lviv—and Michał Szczepaniec, a multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Wrocław. The duo crafts music that inhabits the borders of folk, dream-pop, and experimental electronics.
The band released their first EP, titled Simplex, in 2019 via Seszele Records. This was a conceptual mini-album based on the Soviet children’s book I Was in a Computer City, which tells the adventures of a boy named Alyosha who finds himself in a city hidden within the depths of a computer. This April saw the release of the duo’s debut full-length album, titled Słowa.
