Directed by Marie Losier, this documentary boldly  attempts to capture the essence of Peaches, one of the most original artists in the independent  music scene of the past three decades. The Canadian singer,  songwriter, and producer is renowned for her uncompromising approach to both music and the world  around her.
A global icon of electro-punk, Peaches is also a committed  feminist and outspoken advocate  for LGBTQ  rights.  Her career has consistently been defined by courage, determination, and consistency, evident in her deep engagement  with political critique, notably targeting the presidencies  of George W. Bush and Donald Trump.
She has graced the stage with legends like Nine Inch Nails and Bauhaus, and collaborated in the studio with artists such as Iggy Pop (on the iconic track  “Kick It”), Josh Homme, Feist, Beth Ditto, and Joan Jett.
“Peaches Goes Bananas” offers a gripping cinematic portrait of an extraordinary  artist who consistently refuses to be confined  by expectations.
