The Belarusian duo Eryk i Ja is the latest project from Uladzimir Liankievič (noted for his work with TonqiXod) and Eryk Arłoŭ-Šymkus (of Harotnica mix and formerly Vuraj). In their sound, synthesizer textures collide with noisy guitars and raw vocals, occasionally giving way to genuine poetry.
The Minsk-based artists venture into the territories of progressive electronics and post-rock sonic experimentation, all while maintaining a characteristically rebellious energy and a potent punk message that radiates from the stage.
