Einstürzende Neubauten | DEU
ABOUT
A legend of the global alternative scene, Einstürzende Neubauten was founded in Berlin in 1980 by Blixa Bargeld—one of the most compelling German artists of the last four decades. Bargeld is widely recognized as a visionary composer, multi-instrumentalist, and poet—a true man of culture. For many years, he was also a key collaborator of Nick Cave, serving as the guitarist in the iconic formation The Bad Seeds.
Einstürzende Neubauten has released over a dozen albums, many of which—including Ende Neu, Silence is Sexy, and Haus der Lüge—are now considered essential landmarks of the musical avant-garde and electronic scenes. Their latest work, Lament, was met with widespread critical acclaim, becoming one of the most significant musical events of 2014. The group’s appearance in Lublin at the Different Sounds Festival is set to be a definitive highlight of the summer concert season in Poland.
