At the helm of this project is Martin Nathan—musician, producer, DJ, and a central figure of the French dub scene. As far back as the 1990s, he was among the first in France to perform live-set dub, establishing himself as a true precursor and leader of the entire movement. Over the ensuing years, Nathan has recorded and performed alongside such icons as Zion Train, High Tone, and Alpha & Omega.
Brain Damage has long been celebrated for its expansive sonic exploration, masterfully fusing the finest sound system traditions with live instrumentation. For the French club scene—deeply rooted in dub, reggae, and dancehall—Nathan’s work and legacy are nothing short of fundamental. This performance in Lublin is part of the project’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, offering a unique opportunity to experience the very best of this incredible formation live.
