A guided tour of the exhibition “Hegar’s Revenge” for blind and visually impaired people
About
Piotr Marek was one of the most distinctive and uncompromising artists of the Polish underground. He created paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, objects, performance pieces, music, texts, instruments, and his own unique approaches to sound. He was associated with the legendary band Düpą, and for years his work remained a kind of blind spot — present in the memory of artistic communities, yet still awaiting broader recognition.
During the guided tour, we will explore the exhibition not only through storytelling and audio description, but also through selected sensory elements. We will talk about Piotr Marek’s works, his imagination, experiments, rebellious gestures, and his extraordinary artistic consistency.
