Cluster Lizard is a project at the intersection of electronic music, visual arts, and computer graphics. It is comprised of acclaimed Ukrainian artists Dmytro Fedorenko (aka Kotra) and Kateryna Zavoloka, who are based in Berlin and closely associated with the KVITNU label.
In their work, they draw inspiration from classic science fiction cinema and literature, as well as abstract painting, photography, video games, and comic books. Their sets are brilliant, pop-culture-infused excursions into the world of ambitious electronics. As the musicians describe it themselves, Cluster Lizard crafts a dystopian soundtrack for a strange sci-fi film that has yet to be made.
