A superb instrumental trio built on the classic jazz instrumentation of bass, drums, and piano. These Ukrainian artists possess a remarkable ability to weave together melodies rooted in Slavic folk and traditional music with contemporary and avant-garde influences in a deeply considered and cohesive manner.
A performance by Pokaz Trio is a convergence of jazz, improvisation, and musique concrète, navigating the intersection of acoustic and electric sounds. The ensemble records for the Norwegian label Losen Records and has successfully toured in countries including France, Spain, and Lithuania. Now, it is Lublin’s turn.
