The post-rock scene of our eastern neighbours has been thriving in recent years, and one of its most intriguing representatives is the Kyiv-based formation Alinda. The band was established in 2008 and has since released two captivating albums—Comets’ Tales and Why Do You Twinkle—while performing a wide range of concerts along the way. In their music, the group blends post-rock, elements of metal, prog-rock, and even ambient and electronics into a cohesive, well-thought-out whole. Alinda completes this year’s roster of artists representing the contemporary Ukrainian scene.
