A band that is nothing short of a phenomenon; in truth, it is difficult to compare them to anyone else, as there is no other group like them in the world today. These Japanese artists form a massive, 30-plus-member big band whose trademark is their phenomenal live performances.
Their shows are a unique and incredibly high-octane fusion of immense musical power—driven by an expansive brass section—and theatrical elements that draw from both rich Japanese traditions and global cultural motifs. The result is a spectacular blend of jazz, dance music, and raw rock ’n’ roll, presented as a kaleidoscope of colors, costumes, set design, elaborate makeup, and pyrotechnics.
With a full-scale orchestra, elements of Butoh theater, fire effects, towering stage structures, dancers, and mimes, their performance is a celebration of humor and the pure joy of music.
