Goldfrapp stands as one of the preeminent stars of the global club and electronic scenes. The group was formed in 1999 by Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory. At the time of their debut, Alison—blessed with a phenomenal voice—already boasted an impressive portfolio through collaborations with Tricky and Orbital. Will, in turn, proved to be a masterful composer and multi-instrumentalist. Together, through talent and artistic consistency, they have forged the unique project that Goldfrapp is today.

The group’s discography includes six studio albums and a string of hit singles, complemented by numerous awards and hundreds of performances worldwide. Their debut album, Felt Mountain, was an immediate success, delivering hits such as “Lovely Head” and “Utopia.” Subsequent acclaimed releases, Black Cherry and Supernature, further solidified their stardom, achieving platinum status in the UK. These were followed by the equally successful Seventh Tree and Head First.

In 2013, the film Tales of Us was released—a cinematic companion piece dedicated to the band’s artistry and their latest album of the same name. While Polish fans had the opportunity to experience this unique film in select cinemas, on July 13, at the Different Sounds Festival in Lublin, they will have the chance to witness firsthand the extraordinary phenomenon that is a live Goldfrapp performance.
